"Spa access was not included. The rooms and hotel were very well worn, poorly kept. Lots of cleanliness issues, if you stand near reception you can hear the constant complaints including someone finding dirty underwear in their room! "

"We generally had a great stay at the Radisson Blu in Sheffield. Spacious comfortable rooms, good breakfast and fantastic centrak location. The shower drain was blocked which we reported on the first day but was quickly fixed."

"A wonderful welcome ( thank you Jane). Hotel has a lovely atmosphere, all staff friendly & helpful. Great breakfast, had dinner in one evening & food was good. Comfortable clean spacious room. Great location, lovely setting & gardens. Would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel looked very posh and impressive from the outside, and that was probably the only part I genuinely liked. Unfortunately, once inside, it felt about 30 years behind modern standards. The room was clean, but honestly, the average person probably has a better bedroom and bathroom at home than what was being offered here. I also paid extra for a room with a king-size bed, but it was the smallest “king” bed I’ve ever seen, which was really disappointing. The bath was ridiculously small too — I could barely even stand in it properly, and I’m a fit, average-sized person, so that was pretty pathetic. On top of that, the TV looked like something from the 1950s, which just added to how outdated the whole place felt. Overall, it was a big disappointment and nowhere near worth the extra money."

"Our stay was OK. The surrounding area is noisey late into the night. We were placed in the basement, and initially our second room smelled of smoking and not great. The fantastic staff were understanding and did move us with no problems. Parking is a bit of an annoyance. We had to park a short walk away. The suggestion was that the hotel had a beneficial rate (it doesn’t). It is the same as if you just pulled up. There is a car park that is closer (the NCP) and marginally cheaper (save a £1 overnight). Overall - we will probably look elsewhere next time. "

"Staff were very helpful. There are some renovations ongoing at the moment. I was initially given a room that was still being renovated, so walked into a room with dust sheets on the floor and missing furniture. Staff were very apologetic and gave me 2 complimentary drinks at the bar while they prepared another room. Breakfast was amazing, really good quality and delicious"
