"It’s faded charm and wonderful, a great stop between London and Yorkshire, rooms not huge but fine for one night. Staff & bar too notch. We’ll definitely stay here again on our way north."

"Lovely, welcoming staff. Very easy to check in at the pub next to the accommodation. Very good location and easy to find. Free parking which is a bonus these days! Stayed for 3 nights in a family room, clean but a little dated. Beds could be more comfortable. Breakfast was nice and has a lovely kids play area. Overall a pleasant stay."
