"We were told prior to booking that kids could use the hot tub and the pool, but in fact they couldn’t use the hot tub, only the pool. The overall cleanliness could have been better. The bedroom was clean but the bathroom was dated and needed various repairs. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. The food was ok but overpriced for what it was. The staff were all amazing and very friendly. "

"Not bad hotel .room showing bit of sge as bit of black mould in grout on bathroom . Had good which was good apart from hair in pizza .but as compensation gave us a couple pf free drinks .all staff were lovely"

"Breakfast was ok but poor quality ingredients. We had a terrible dining experience. Starter ok - We waited one hour for our mains. My salmon served on a bed of rice was so dried out it was inedible. Looked like it had been left under the heat lamp for ages. Crispy and very dry. You could lift the whole dish up in one go - horrible. My partners cod loin wasnt any better and his veg was actually black and burnt. Amazed they actually served it to us. Four of the desert items were off the menu and we were under a time constraint anyway. Considering we paid for this in advance and no way of getting any refund it was highly disappointing. "

"Hotel was lovely and the beds were comfortable. Really pleasant staff and would recommend the hotel. However wasn’t a fan of 5 WhatsApp messages plus Expedia messages from them think it was a bit too much. Apart from that everything else was great "

"The hotel was what was expected for the cost, staff we dealt with were excellent, facilities basic but adequate, there is parking i wouldn't say enough for the whole hotel i basically got the last spot and arrived around 16:00. there are local car parks to the hotel so shouldn't be a problem location is great for accessing the city centre we didn't have breakfast and was very surprised that a hotel bar for residents closes at 11pm. The shower had a slight drip on it but with the door shut you couldn't hear it in the night, there was literally 10 sheets left on the toilet roll so had to use sparingly we should have mentioned it to reception but forgot when we were down there. Apart from the little niggles i would recommend it Our biggest problem wasn't a hotel fault it was a guest fault, the room next to ours 429 i think had a massive row for about an hour and half around 03:30 banging shouting, at one point something hit our wall and our bed shook, I'd be very surprised if there's no damage in there. I slept through most of it but my partner never got a wink of sleep through it even with ear plugs in she could every word said as it wasn't the hotels fault we didn't mention it at reception although that was because we had express check out and didn't have to speak to reception. "

"Room was fine, housekeeping didn’t always refresh the teabags which was frustrating and the room service food was overdone and lukewarm by the time it was delivered, which was disappointing. Staff were mainly friendly and helpful although bar staff were abrupt and on one occasion rude."
