We didn't request a particular type of room. We were sitting in the Lobby and watched the Front Desk staff give out rooms to other visitors that came in after us. "Beautiful hotel, the signature tobacco smell creates a sumptuous atmosphere. The staff is fantastic, they were helpful for me with wifi, managing multiple reservations, brunch and the spa. Rooftop deck is a hot spot in the city. The spa pool is awesome. "

"We had a wonderful experience at the Olivia Hotel. The location was perfect- very easy to walk to Las Ramblas, the Gothic District and the beaches. The staff was excellent- we truly appreciate the kindness of Alejandro, who checked us in and answered all of our questions. Nice, clean rooms and a lovely breakfast."

"The hotel is in a good area for walking around the Bari Gothic area of Barcelona, not a lot of restaurants around but close enough to walk to find one. The hotel has 24 hour door service and we felt very safe here. It is a good value to price for a 4 star hotel,not many frills but good clean bathrooms and nice towels. Beds were ok also."
