"Visited this place on 22nd July and it was just excellent. Staff, food, amenities everything was just top notch. I was a bit nervous if the room would be nice or not but I was surprised. So every time you want to tour Northumberland National trust park and want to see beautiful hills from your room, you should book Black bull inn and yeaah I am definitely coming back with lots of friends. 😛"

"Overall a very good value place to stay, and as long as you know the place’s limits in advance you can plan round them. A bit on the basic side (no desk in the room, no towels, no dedicated wifi (something cloudy that didn’t work on 4th floor, so I tethered iPad to phone). toilet and shower a bit “military grade” but the price point was exceptional.
