"The hotel staff was great, and were helpful with suggestions for dining, Gelato and local area sites to visit. Clean rooms, breakfast and at a nice price, plus they speak English. "

Except our room was in the building next door and you had to unlock the lock all of these: the front door to get in, the next door going up to the room, then the door to the room. Room door did not lock on its own. Key was needed to lock it from the inside. There are only two room in that building. Rooms in the main hotel next probably are not like that. "

"We found the management of the hotel to be wonderful, friendly and very helpful on giving us guidance of where to eat and shop. They even went to the trouble to ring some of the business to assist us. The hotel is so close to the station and is about 25 min to Florence. The rooms are very comfortable warm and breakfast is a treat. Can’t recommend it highly enough, we loved 4 days here. "

"Great place to stay, however, the restaurant was not open during our stay and it was difficult to find a place that was open to eat. Room was great, but the shower was not draining properly. You definitely require some sort of transportation. Overall, I would recommend this Villa."

"Stayed in the the Junior suit with a balcony and beautiful view. The staff is so friendly and helpful like a big family! Typical Italian rustic style but very charming hotel. Lucca only about 8 minutes away by car. Will come back again! Breakfasts are the same every day which is a bit boring . We would like to have more options like a fruit salad / soft fruit and tomatoes and eggs to choose from. Other than that - lovely place to stay. Thank you all for looking after us . "Very helpful, friendly staff. Room (superior) was a really good size. A second day chair would be good! Bathroom clean and a good size. Bed comfy. There are sitting rooms, we used one each night and had it all to ourselves. Breakfast simple but everything you would expect for a continental breakfast. Some cut fruit or berries would have been good. However coffee was fab! Garden lovely though there is traffic noise. The view is spectacular! The pool looked really clean and had a good range of...

"This was the perfect way to end our trip, with our young family as we spent pretty much the whole day in the pool! There isn't a great deal directly around the resort, so make sure you've stocked up on food before you arrive....although, it's not far to drive into Pisa if you need supplies! Staff we very helpful and welcoming!"

"This property is beautiful, and our villa was quintessential and lovely Italian, but not walkable to the city center. We were in the furthest villa at the end of the property and it was difficult to communicate to taxi drivers our pickup location (which we needed to use every time we went somewhere). It was also considered still ‘winter’ so the breakfast buffet was closed and breakfast was delivered in a box to the door outside. Not impressed with the restaurant on the property. "
