"It was a great place overall except for we didn't know the restaurant beside was closed. Woods was a great option for breakfast though as a substitute and there were other options near by. We also didn't realize the pool was closed either. It was clean but pretty dated and the flooring looks like in many places it needs to be replaced. The elevator was making huge clunking noises. "The property was lovely. Love the roof top terrace. Coffee in the lobby was always available. Perfect timing that we were able to check in early. There was a lot of Homeless (sad) but sometimes seemed unsafe walking on the sidewalk. Typical of any large city. "

"Great location- walkable to Pike Place and literally next door to the train station. The rooms are tiny compared to other Embassy Suites but clean and well kept up. "

"Hotel Max’s decor is stylish and caters to music aficionados. The elevators are smallish so keep that in mind if you have bulky items for some reason. We had basic room. Bed was comfortable and room decor was cool (record player and assortment of records on the wall was a nice touch). Shower was very small, but I managed and I’m a big and tall guy."
