"The hotel is a hidden gem! It’s not the easiest place to drive to for the first time, but thereafter the hotel was excellent. The staff were all helpful, pleasant and hard working. The room itself had everything you needed and more for our stay. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel was central to walk to the abundance of pubs, restaurants and shops. Planning to return very soon. "

"This property was very convenient for our short trip to Aberdeen. The checking in process was easy including information for parking, not far from the property. Staff welcome on arrival was excellent and we cannot complain about the service. Breakfast included a range of options and was ideal to start the day. The fabric of the building is a bit dated however this was reflected in the price."

"The food was very good and the staff excellent. Unfortunately our room was noisy because it was above the bar and banging hotel entrance doors. Thumping music does not sit welll with a hotel's function. Of providing restful accommodation."

"Staff were polite, breakfast good, bar price reasonable and spotlessly clean. Hotel seemed quiet but parking was overflowing with cars parked in random places, I assume people parking here and flying from airport. We were lucky to get a space. There were other cars parked on road outside with several parking tickets. Hotel was good but parking would put me off using it again."

"The grounds and the staff were great. The bed was super comfortable and the room appeared to be as well. That is, until it I learned that there was no aircon and they did not have fans. This left me with the option to open the windows the tiny bit they can be opened to cool the room. Unfortunately, this meant a million bugs since there is no netting on the windows. I ultimately had to close the windows, kill as many bugs as I could, and then spend the night alternating between slapping bugs...

"Check in friendly and efficient. Room not huge but well designed to satisfy needs for a couple of days. Bar comfortable. Bed comfortable. Compact bathroom with good shower. Location is almost ideal for food drink transport and culture. Certainly would consider using again."
