"They hosted a function which we attended, The staff were very friendly and helpful, the self catering room was lovely and well equipped and suited myself with mobility needs, as it was on the ground floor and had it's on entrance with only a couple of stairs, once inside the room it was all on one level, We also dinned in the hotel and the food was lovely."

"We booked last minute as we were tired with still a long way to drive home. We were welcomed by the owners and got our key quickly. They said they had only owned the hotel about a year and were gradually doing it up. The bar is listed and absolutely beautiful. Our room had everything we needed after a quick shower we had a great sleep. Breakfast was included in the great price and was top class. Hopefully we'll wander that way again and would definitely stay at the station hotel again. "

"We were given a lovely little lodge in courtyard with downstairs Tv area & bathroom and a mezzanine upper where the comfiest of beds were situated. The bathroom was beautiful, massive shower cubicle! The hosts were brilliant, even down to being shown which parts of the building were eldest & a centuries old stone winding staircase that was used by soldiers in the days of fighting over the English Scottish border. "Probably the best place I’ve stayed in a long time. The food at the pub is first class and home cooked, non of the usual pub clone food. The room was immaculate and very comfortable, bed was great and the shower was fantastic. Thoroughly recommend this place, I’ll be back. "
