We had a beautiful view of the river from our room. Building is beautiful. Rooms were just a little tired but clean. Lots of nice sitting areas on the main floor. Super handy to the rail system and downtown area. Cannot get wifi in the rooms without paying was the downside, but was free in the common areas.

This hotel was one of the few in Fort William (through Expedia) to have a vacancy for the time we wanted to be there, and I feel it was very expensive for a two star hotel. We were in the section away from the main hotel; this is being refurbished and it needs it, although our rooms were clean, well equipped, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of hot and cold items on the buffet bar. The hotel is a good 20 minute walk away from Fort William, but caters for walkers and hill climbers, so they would not be concerned at that.

The Westhaven was a fantastic stay. The owners made us feel extremely welcomed, and provided a lot of useful information. The location is close enough to Fort William town, (two minute drive?) but far enough away for quiet. Beds comfy, breakfast delicious, great spot to explore!

The hotel was basic. But staff were very good and the evening meal we had there was excellent.

A great location with good views of the loch. Interesting features within the hotel and very good food. The hotel is also open to none residents with a seperate bar and dining area. Good off road parking and very good food.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The ambience of this place is to die for. There are so many different sitting areas and they allow you to bring your drinks wherever you go as opposed to having strict rules about it. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. They have a hotel cat named Diego who hangs around and he's so cute! The bar/restaurant is right downstairs and it's very reasonably priced. The food was amazing and the bartender John was super friendly and on top of things. The breakfast buffet was included and it was really good. The room had nice high ceilings and lots of natural light - our room looked out to the water. The bathroom was a tad small but still very nice. I can't say enough good things about this place! If you're traveling to the area, definitely book a room here!

Stayed 3 nights for Fort William and local area. Excellent evening food and real ale available from bar. Busy hotel which added to atmosphere. Very convenient for rail station which give added bonus for those not wishing to use road.

A look in the mirror on the water in the morning is worth every penny for the price of yor stay. Love to come back an stay longer.

Good hotel in a beautiful location, with very pleasant staff and good food. Only blip was that room was not prepared as twin when we arrived. While this was rectified we did wind up with two basic single beds. General comment - not specific to this hotel, but we wonder why hotels provide so few twin rooms and also so rarely provide twin rooms with decent sized beds?
