Tge check in procedure was pleasant and very easy. We didn’t have dinner so I can’t speak to that but breakfast was very nice. We stayed for one night on a trip from Inverness to Glasgow. A perfect place to rest, relax and dine. Be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs to your room, no elevator available. The restaurant provided a great evening meal as well as a tasty breakfast buffet. The restaurant was excellent, and would highly recommend eating there. I enjoyed my stay, the only down points for me were that the floor of the room above us was so noisy every time anyone walked around it was borderline annoying, even considering it is an old building!
