Very relaxing stay. I was visiting friends for a surprise party. Very friendly receptionist, most welcoming.

An absolutely stunning period property in an enclosed setting. Couldn't ask for a warmer welcome on arrival, and immediately made to feel that no request was an inconvenience. Such courteous and attentive staff. A great stay for my Dad & I whilst at the nearby motor racing. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue to others.

Great value for money. Excellent breakfast just no uncooked option ie fruit ,cereal or yoghurt. Quiet at night. Brilliant staff. Room a bit tired ours could have done with a refresh.

We arrived late and were greeted by very pleasant helpful hosts who made us feel welcome, great selection for breakfast and cooked food was excellent, I would certainly stay again if down in the area and would recommend Pickmere Country Guest House to friends.

Short stay over a weekend. Found hotel to be quiet and offered peaceful nights rest. Chose hotel based on previous dining experience there. Still lived up to expectations both at dinner and for breakfast. Wine list whilst not extensive as a posh London restaurant contained a nice choice of very drinkable wines.

Friendly and attentive staff-from the reception to the restaurant, all the staff made sure that our stay was enjoyable. Would definitely go back for another stay.

Very good break away at Ellesmere Port. Quiet location, seconds off motorway, and walking distance (10 mins) to bus stops & rail station - giving great access to Chester, Port Sunlight & Liverpool. Bedroom clean with all the usual amenities. Breakfast plentiful. Evening meal choices ok. Staff all friendly - so a good little break .

Stayed as we were attending the Creamfields festival, great location in a nice area. What really made our stay memorable were the hotels staff who were so friendly and welcoming as well as happy to help! Big thanks to everyone for our stay!
