"We went to have a night out away from home and got everything we needed. It was relaxing from the moment we stepped in the door. We got a welcome drink went to our cozy room with a fireplace. We enjoyed the hot tub, park let and small gardens. The massage at the spa was great. Altogether the kind of relaxation a tired parenting couple needed. "

"The staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms are comfortable. The location is great as you can walk to downtown healdsburg or the hotel offers shuttle service. Hotel is close to many great wineries. "

"What an amazing trip and stay at the Ruse. From the minute we booked the Stay and Play, Christine at the front desk, was so helpful to answer questions and make our trip spectacular. I cannot say enough about the property and the breakfasts! The 18 hole putting green was so fun. Beds were very comfortable, the golf at the Mayacama was outstanding. We have already decided we are coming back next year."

"It was beautiful but the hidden fees were a lot. For one small dog, it was $150.00 for the two days, and the resort fee was $35 daily. It did not offer anything for a resort fee (pool, Spa, hot tub, doggie spa...haha). I don't mind paying but you have to be upfront when you post places like this. I pre-paid but could have stayed in another place with the extra fees. This was a big turn-off for me. "

"Unique renovated mid-century motel with inspiring decor and a garden courtyard worthy of meditation. Breakfast included locally sourced granola, yogurt and coffee. Located in an artsy neighborhood with really nice parks in walking distance. I recommend the restaurant across the street for breakast or lunch. If you want a walk or run, the Santa Rosa river trail is 2 blocks away. Only drawback is you need to use overflow parking when they are busy, but it is free."

"Hey, it’s funky, lbh! I love the location, easy access to great food. Grossmans is a standout for me close to 101 & 12 for easy transportation to Sebastopol or Sonoma. Staff are fantastic. For me, less interaction = better ✅. But whenever I need assistance, they are on point."

"Perfect little get away for our anniversary. Room was clean, but had a weird smell in the room, but we opened the windows and it went away. We had the Starlight room and it was beautiful, overlooking the water. There is no patio or personal balcony for this room but it was still perfect. We stayed for 3 nights, and there was plenty to do all around. Starlight room has utensils, cups, plates, a fridge and microwave. "
