The rooms were extremely clean and had lots of amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a wonderful walking area around the back of the golf course. I would highly recommend Casa Secoya.

If you’re looking to stay near the river while still being just a short drive from the coast, this is the perfect spot. Nestled among the redwoods, it offers a peaceful escape from the busyness of city life. A great place to slow down, recharge, and enjoy the outdoors. They are quick to answer customer questions when needed via text.

The grounds are well kept, inviting and calming. The location next to North Wood golf course in the redwoods is spectacular. The owners are new (1.5 years) and are making every effort to make the motel attractive. Feedback on the property was well received and understood. This is a good place to land for the Russian River area especially if you want to play North Wood for a couple days.

Our 2 night stay was ok. Our room overlooking the pool was VERY basic. The room was very clean. The code to our room did not work. We arrived after hours. Thankful that someone was in the office to give us a new code😳. If we spent more time in our room, I would have been very disappointed knowing how much we spent. We literally only used to room to sleep and was out exploring all day. The quiet surroundings was nice. Coffee shop down the street was nice but very overpriced. I guess it goes along with the area… everything seemed so expensive.

As expected for this type of hotel. Cute upscale motor lodge vibe with pool and big grass area for the kids to play. Room wasn't ready until 45min after check in time and we were short a towel for 4 of us, but would definitely come back! Cute, felt like we were transported.

We love the proximity to Guerneville and Monte Rio. And a plus to be next to the golf course. In the summer, we truly appreciate the pool and a dip in it. The only thing I think the rooms could use is a full length mirror outside of the bathroom.

Cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for our 4 day weekend retreat. We were able to cook breakfast every day, couldn’t find a pan for the eggs but with just a text message and a few minutes, the front desk staff knocked and handed us the pan! Also beautiful pool with great redwood tree scenery. Close 8 minute drive to Guerneville to buy groceries, go to all the shops, and even spend a day at the river beach! Loved it and would def return!

The accommodations covered all the essentials, providing a tidy room equipped with every required amenity. A delightful highlight was the bunk bed, which the children absolutely enjoyed. We enjoyed the Casa Secoya cabin. It’s next to a pretty redwood grove and comfortably slept 4. The cabins have been updated but there are still a few funky features like the sticky bathroom door. Pool is great on hot days. Nice and simple place!

Casa Secoya is a fantastic place to stay. The cabins are spacious, comfortable, and especially well suited for families with kids. The property has a great pool that’s perfect for relaxing, and it’s also apparently very dog-friendly, making it an excellent choice for travelers bringing their pets. The location is another big advantage. It’s just minutes from Monte Rio and the golf course, yet the property maintains a peaceful, quiet atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. What really sets Casa Secoya apart, though, is the exceptional service. The owner and the entire team went above and beyond to make sure guests were well taken care of. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a quiet, family-friendly getaway in the Russian River area with outstanding hospitality, Casa Secoya is an easy recommendation. We’d happily stay here again.
