"Room nice size & clean. But from about 6am, we could hear bassy music presuming from the gym next door. Outside of property was a mess, the bin was over flowing & cigerette buts all over. Not a welcoming sight. The disabled spot was taken by someone without/not displaying blue badge"

"We stayed in the balcony room with the bath in the room (room 18). Sea view was gorgeous, the room was spacious (despite being in the attic!) and immaculately clean. Check in was easy and we enjoyed drinks in the bar. We did not eat at the hotel but the breakfast hamper was a nice touch, as was the fridge in the room with fresh milk and some treats. Perfect location to walk to the beach and to Rocky Bottoms for dinner/seafood. We were not bothered at all by noise from the bar as other reviews have mentioned - even on a Friday night it was all quiet by 10:30. We will be back!"

"Had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the surroundings were just stunning. The property has so much charm and history, and it really felt more like staying in a friend's country home than a traditional hotel, which I absolutely loved. Highly recommend! "
