Very comfortable stay, the staff were so friendly and helpful.

On arrival we were greeted very warmly and show to our room which was spotless. After settling in we went back down to the bar area and were made to feel very welcome, we ordered a meal and went to the restaurant the food was great. Breakfast was ordered the night before and you were asked what time you would like it, this was also great and set us up for the day. We would recommend anyone to stay here as we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks again for a...

Decor, soft furnishings clean polite and friendly

Overall atmosphere was one of the best experienced. A 3 night stop. A busy , successful country pub, restaurant, party venue does create a few problems of wear. Which will need addressing fairly soon. Certainly recommend.

friendly staff

Our family get together weekend at The Old Oak Tree was supreme! Absolutely faultless from arriving, check-in, accommodation, welcome, rear patio/beer garden, drinks service, dinner food and service. Breakfast was fantastic, the whole team was attentive, polite and helpful from beginning to end - a totally positive experience. The Old Oak Tree is fabulous in all departments!!

Good food and comfortable room

Great hotel 10-15 minute walk into the centre. Generous sized rooms. Breakfast was great and lots of choices. Great value for money.

Booked the willows as a last minute getaway for me and my girlfriend. As someone that stays in hotels a lot for work and rarely writes reviews, I feel after staying here , I must share my views. Customer service here is beyond impeccable. We dealt with the owner , Margaret , the owner. A proper no nonsense landlady who loves what she does and is committed to making sure you love your stay. Nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are exactly as advertised as with so many other...

Super clean.

Very nice, big room. Very comfortable bed, good bathroom. Lovely pub. Great cooked breakfast. Friendly, good value for money.

Beautiful location, very clean, friendly staff, delicious food. We will definitely visit again, thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Stayed a few times and host (Tony) is fantastic- great breakfast. Sadly won’t be staying again as being taken over by a shambles of a company who have made Tony redundant - SHAMBLES!
