"The staff was eager to help with directions to things we wanted to get to. Location was very close to trams to get to anywhere. The train station and bus station were very close. Don't plan on doing your laundry in this city. There is only one laundromat and we couldn't get it to work, nor was there anyone to ask. This is a great city to visit. The river and the things around it were amazing. We would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"Impersonal, all contact made by Internet. Spent nearly $20 Australian dollars on phone calls trying to get the Basel Card which was paid for in our city tax. Tiny bathroom - had to sit sideways on toilet. "Garden " was a shared brick paved patio covered with weeds. Not impressed for the price we paid. Redeeming feature was proximity to 2 tram lines. "

"Returned from full day of sightseeing, FOB didn’t work (10:30 PM). No one answered call via call button. Thankfully, fellow guest let me in. WiFi is complete rubbish in common areas. Groceries were discarded prior to my departure (staff gave me complimentary salad-yum!). No electrical outlets/USB by beds. And, yes beds are RIGHT next to each other-bit weird. Pros? "Nightmare!!!! Imagine, you drive long hours, naturally tired, rain starts heavier, Swiss cell is 256 kbs, and when you are finally “home” ready to relax there is nobody home!!! That is correct - NOBODY. Door is locked, no lights inside, phone is not dead, you can hear it rings, but nobody answers! Not even an answering machine! Not a joke!!!"
