"Nice hotel near the beach"
The beach is just 5min away so as the Sandown center. The staff is really friendly and I had no trouble while staying there. Totally recommend it!

"Ideal weekend break at Sandown"
Its few minutes walk to the beach. The hotel is clean & the staff is very friendly. The english breakfast is very nice and we enjoyed it. The room is fine for three of us as a family. We enjoyed our stay, thank you for being so welcoming.

"Nice hotel - close to beach/pier"
Hotel was a pleasant stay - staff were nice and welcoming and had respected our additional requests. Room was okay for us provided enough room for 2 adults and 2 small children and had a basic en-suite shower and w/c. TV wasn't working due to weak signal and room was a bit outdated/had paint smell. It did also get noisy in the night given the location. However for 1 night stay this was all very minor points for us the main thing was we all had a nights rest followed by a lovely full breakfast with a view of the sea. Overall - a good hotel for the odd night(s) stay and we left with a smile.

"Nice hotel friendly helpful staff"
The hotel is close to the sandown pier and beach. The staff at the hotel were very helpful allowing us to keep my son's dairy free milk spread and yogurt's in their fridge. Breakfast was included and there was a good choice. We had a couple of evening meals at the hotel they were all freshly made and delicious.

"sunny hotel on the beach with great views "
We had a great couple of days at the hotel and were surprised with the rooms and the new en-suite facilities. For the price we paid it was excellent value for money. However, the breakfast left us somewhat disappointed. We did not enjoy the watered-down "orange juice" (squash!), nor the watery porridge or coffee (like tea). When we asked about it there was no offer to replace it. It is great to have a menu and a bit fancy to have silver service but we would have preferred a breakfast bar with a decent coffee machine and more of a self-service, especially as service was a bit slow at times, albeit with a smile. We had to ask for honey, which ran out. There was only Marmalade but no jam or chocolate spread for the children. Considering the price paid for breakfast we felt it was disproportionate compared to other touring hotels and not so suitable for children, e.g. no hot chocolate. The cooked food was great but perhaps it's best to provide silver service for the older clientele who may ask for it. Young families need something different. Oh and the lift only goes from the first floor onwards and did not work upon arrival; it was slow and unreliable.
