"I had a decent stay here. The location is good only 10 mins walk to the main cathedral. Wifi was reliable and the showers had great hot water. Towels are provided and beds were of relative comfort. The place was always clean and the kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The downsides were that there wasn’t any social feel to the place and the rickety wooden doors would get noisy when it was windy at night. All of the patio furniture was damaged and in need of repair"

"Apparently a dangerous suburb but we had no isses. Secure parking behind a gate. Ladies were super friendly but didnt speak much English. We were in Room 19 which was basic but with a nice big bed and great shower. Power plugs to charge laptop/phones dont have a grounding plug so make sure you plan that. Telephone in phone doesent work. Room was clean and TV worked reasonably well. If you go out and turn left there is a terrific burger place. I got the biggest one for 95MXN or if you go right...

"The safe in the room didn't work and the staff didn't know how to get it working. The floor was never cleaned and made my socks black after walking around for a couple minutes. I had no towels, no shampoo, no soap. The shower head was broken and sprayed water everywhere causing the floor to become very wet. I was charged 120 pesos to have 2 kg of laundry cleaned. "This is a very inexpensive room in a non-descript area. Value? Sure. But far, far from how it's visually depicted. Tiny room. Very cold at night. Understaffed, friendly but sloppy because you don't get the feeling they'd know decent if they saw it. If Hotels.com includes a lot of disappointing experiences like this, I'll think twice."
