The drive along the private road is stunning breathtaking views of Abergavenny and surrounded by animals. The area has such low light pollution, it was lovely to sit outside at night and see the stars so clearly. The area is private and secure as we had children with us that loved running around outside. "We stayed for one night overnight at the hotel and can honestly say it was just basic. The condition of the room was not great, as we soon discovered the lightning did not work properly and the kettle in the room was dysfunctional (reported) The bathroom was clearly in need of renovation as the flooring which was used to cover the sides of the bathtub was peeling away. The window blinds had portions missing and the curtains were hanging off. We also noted a strong draught from the window but...
