"When we arrived to check in the room was not ready. Turns out they were not even aware of our booking until we showed it to them. We then had to wait two hours whilst the owner came to the property to get the room ready. Waiting outside in the side proved to be a disaster as their outdoor table and chair was covered in a black bitumen type substance that got all over the bottom of my trousers and completely ruined them. "Was a cosy home from home. A nice base for us to visit family and a couple days away with our young baby. The couple of kitchen appliances were enough for our needs and small touches like towels provided and complimentary biscuits was lovely. Great, attentive hosts but gave us our space during our stay."

"I booked this back in September, they cancelled by email less than 48 hours before we were due to go, absolutely disgraceful, with no explanation or anything. We had to then try to find somewhere to accommodate 8 people in less than two days over an Easter break. I would advise against booking this.."
