However .... my room (number 6) had a window that just would not close properly, which was concerning and a bit chilly. Also, the TV reception was virtually non-existant. I did ask, but was given some explanation about work being underway to do something to something on the roof."

Hi the apartment was comfortable, the beds were good and bathrooms great. All amenities were good. I deducted a star because the settee was really uncomfortable. I couldn't sit on it. Had no support. The parking was good and the apartment was close to all. Id stay again. Thank uou.

The view from my accommodation and also that of my family members in the two next door was way better than the picture - literally 'tree tops' - looking across the Kent countryside through mature trees. The terrace was perfect for sitting out. The rooms were modern and really lovely, air conditioned, well equipped and with a sliding Japanese style door for privacy when the kids were in bed. The reserve was so peaceful

Probably the most quirky place I have stayed, ( except Frog Manor in Cheshire which I think is now closed ) fab relaxed atmosphere, great English wines, the staff are very helpful 👍

Lodge was beautiful in a very quiet secluded wooded area. It was well equipped with everything you need. Hot tub, BBQ and seating area lovely. Very comfortable bed and kitchen had everything you need. Really great stay.

Only stayed one night before getting the early eurotunnel. We arrived quite late but all of the staff were so accommodating and friendly and we managed to get some lovely food despite the time. The room was beautiful and rustic only downside is that because we were leaving early we felt we had to be so so quiet as the rooms felt so intimate.s

Excellent stay with The view hotel making my partners 25th birthday so special with decorations and romantic swan towels and rose petals. staff were lovely and went the extra mile at any opportunity! very clean, stunning food and a beautiful hotel! Very happy we will be back! 😀

For the price, this place can’t be faulted. Whilst no check in desk, the process of checking in couldn’t be simpler, no time restrictions on arrival as long as you call and make the arrangement as it states when you book. Yes, it’s not 5 star but it’s not pretending to be, so full marks from me.

Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath.
Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!

The general décor of the hotel is beautiful and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Had our evening meal there - quite pricey but enjoyable with good service. Breakfast (included in room price) was equally enjoyable but no sign of any toast! I'm sure if we'd asked it would have been provided though. Only downside was no...
