"Very Nice Hotel, 5 Minute Walk from Train Stations"
My wife and I loved our stay at this hotel during our recent vacation to Japan. It's economical and in a great location. A 5 minute walk from JR East's Kawasaki Station and the Keikyū Kawasaki Station. Not only that, but there's plenty of convenience stores nearby, as well as restaurants, bus stops and full-fledged shopping centers. Our room was rather small, but that was expected for hotel rooms in Japan plus the low price we paid. Another plus was the free Wi-Fi in our room, excellent for accessing the Internet and keeping in touch with family back home. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful; there was always at least one of them who spoke English. Excellent choice for the cost-conscious traveler to Japan. Don't worry about not being in Downtown Tokyo, you can get there within 15 minutes in one of the nearby trains.

Exellent location for someone going on a cruise from Yokohama. Next to the port, train station, taking you directly to Shibuya st, walking distance from the airport shuttle bus.
The rooms very clean, comfy and big enough for crushing after a long travels. The breakfast was fabulous and definitely worth the extra money. The view from our window took our breath away, since we faced the biggest Ferris wheel I have ever seen! The lights were incredible! Made us feel, that we just got to a Fairy land.

Very nice hotel, great location opposite a small garden which is on the waterfront. We took a taxi from Yokohama station but we could have taken the boat which was only 700 y . We took the boat for a fun harbour cruise to the city and back later in the day. Had a nice night at China town which was just 5 mins walk from the hotel. Hotel staff were very nice. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Shin-Yokohama Kokusai Hotel is just a couple blocks from the Shin-Yokohama Station and is generally convenient for local sightseeing as well. Rooms are small (as most non-luxury hotels in Japan tend to be) but comfortable and clean. Will definitely stay here in the future.
