Both were amazing. We extended our stay one night and had to change rooms. They held our luggage during the day, and allowed us to check back in early as our new room was ready. The hotels is a very short walk from Kamakura Station making it very convenient for using the train and local buses. It was very nice to have an on-site public bath with security for women guests. A nice surprise was their late night snack of miso and onigiri. The staff were extremely courteous and welcoming. The room was clean and somehow spacious for Japan. The amenities are fair. You get a bottle of water every day plus a coupon for diner (usually soup and rice). There’s a free drink machine (coffee, tea). I would say personally their public bath made the difference.
