My sister and I stayed at the Outrigger for 8 nights in October.
The position of the hotel is great, with restaurants and entertainment within a dort walk.
I loved the fact that this hotel was right on the beach as you could choose between the pool and the beach.
The room was huge & very clean. We were on the way 16th floor with city views & partial views of the beach.
The staff were very friendly & happy to help.
Would happily stay here again.

We returned to the Royal Hawaiian again for our annual visit, it remains our favorite hotel in Honolulu (the Trump is a close second but doesn't have the enviable location). As usual, upon arrival to the driveway of the hotel, we suddenly arrive to an oasis, tucked away from the busy shopping area nearby. Whilst the hotel was quite busy and check-in took longer than usual, the staff were friendly and courteous as always. Our corner room had ocean views from one side and a great view along the coast to diamond head from another, as expected, it was well kept and clean, with good amenities, although the bathroom was not as large as our previous rooms here.
I am in the hotel business and own a 100+ room hotel at a major lake and ski area in Northern California. The staff was excellent at The Modern Honolulu and extremely courteous. I told them that I hope my staff is such when we owners are not at our property. 5 Stars to The Modern Honolulu.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely stay again. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Views from the romm were great as was the location as we prefer to be at the Ala Moana end of Waikiki for shopping etc. No wifi in the room but there was free wifi in the big lobby with plenty of seating. Highly recommended.
love the hotel, staff was very helpful. valet and bell hop is only friendly if they feel you have money. we were greeted with a lei and everyone was nice and no complaints about them for us, but our daughter who lives at the north shore has a jalopy car was basically ignored. we go to this hotel every year, and get 2 rooms. you can't judge people by the car they drive, especially in hawaii
We stayed for 12 nights during our wedding trip in Hawaii and had a really great stay at Waikiki Parc. The staff were all so accommodating, friendly and helpful. The staff managed to shuffle a few rooms around so that we could upgrade to an ocean view room which was well worth it. It was a beautiful start to each day, opening the shutters and stepping out onto the balcony, looking out on the stunning ocean blue. I really loved the way the simplicity of the room decorations and the shutters across all windows. Other guests stayed in the mountain view rooms and they were exactly the same as ours, but the view was more of car park and buildings than mountains. The amenities were more basic than a 5 star resort, but I thought that it was good value for money and would definitely stay here again.
