"The hotel is less than 2 minutes walk to the beach It is literally in the middle just behimd the Hyatt Regency Resort. The pool is wonderful with lovely greenery and lounge chairs and umbrellas. Rooms range from small basic hotel type rooms to very large suites. Prices ar very reasonable. The Wednesday night 2 hour variety and hula show in the lobby/pool is presented free of charge with local volunteer talent. There are authentic Hawaiian songs and hulas. Audience is encouraged to participate. The hotel is from 1940s"

"The partial ocean view was better than expected. Absolutely great view! The resort fee is an added hidden expense that I feel is unscrupulous. Why not just include it in the room price? Even though I expected it, it just doesn’t feel right. There’s no choice. We used none of the beach towels, chairs or whatever else this allegedly covers, but have to pay anyway. Come on, just be transparent about your room rates. Other than that, the stay was very enjoyable."

"Room was clean with balconies for some outdoor views. Is in the heart of waikiki so walking distant to many restaurants in the waikiki strip. A car is recommended if you want to explore areas outside of the waikiki beach area. Most tourist activities are within 15 to 20 minutes of the hotel. Valet service was required but worth it."
