"My second time staying here for a work trip. Easy check in, rooms are large with great views over the golf course. Food is great, the buffet breakfast a highlight. The staff are superb. Some of the room decor was looking marked and a bit tired, but still fine.Will stay again."

"Very nice property, enquired on checkin about VIP upgrade and told no rooms available, when in my room above entertainment area the noise was unbearable so went to reception who then moved me to another room. (All though full) so they do not give upgrades to VIP guests. Gorgeous hotel would stay again "

"I rang ahead as I knew I’d be late to arrive. The lady on the phone was very bubbly, polite and most of all; helpful! When I got to the hotel, the nights team were cleaning the reception area but rushed to assist me through the doors. The gentleman behind reception was very knowledgeable about local traffic and the best routes to take for my onward journey and even gave me a complimentary breakfast voucher as I didn’t know if I’d booked breakfast or if it was included or not. Don’t get me wrong, the decor is dated in places BUT it is clean and the beds are very comfortable!"

"Decent, unpretentious old school inn, serving a variety of victuals in a rabbit-warren of higgledy piggledy nooks and crannies within an interesting building. 'Rooms' are a selection of annexes to the main pub, and, if mine was anything to go by, well equipped, clean spacious and comfortable. Cheapest stay of this trip, but without question the best. Would definitely recommend and may well come back sometime in the future. "

The location is perfect - right on the seafront, but set back which reduces the noise from the road and walking distance to the old Town. It is a classic Georgian building and beautifully refurbished with lovely large comfortable rooms, complete with fridge and large screen tv. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We have stayed in Hastings many times over 15 years and this is our favourite hotel. "
