Excellent location

Posted 06-Aug-2014
Pros: Location - no need to move our car.
Cons: The comfort level of the bed and chairs.
Location: Hiking, skiing, shopping, music, etc.
This hotel is in the fabulous town of Telluride. It was fairly comfortable, although the bed was quite "jiggly". The room was spacious. The breakfast was mediocre.

Summer in telluride

Posted 23-Jul-2014
We stayed at the Victorian inn on a quick whim came into town and decided to stay the night looking for an inexpensive room and this fit the bill extremely close to everything (gondola, downtown, etc). The room was comfortable while it seemed a bit dated it was not a big deal for us, made use of the hot tub and overall had a great experience

nice location

Posted 21-Jul-2014
Pros: even being old, it was very clean, nice and comfortable. no complaints!
Cons: no complaints, i was pleased with everything.
Location: a block away from "old town" and a block away from mountain village gondola/tram. I would definitely stay here again next time we visit.
Room is old, but taken well care of. new tile in bathroom, nice carpet. hot tub right outside our room. no air conditioner, i was worried at first because we cant sleep when it's hot, but opened the window and we were just fine.

July in Telluride CO

Posted 20-Jul-2014
Rooms at the Victorian do not have air conditioning. Sleeping was difficult with the warm temperatures we had during our stay. Your only alternative is to leave windows open which also leaves you with street noise. The hotel provides you with earplugs. $185.00 for a room might be acceptable for non peak summer months, but not for July and not without warning potential customers first about no AC..

Close to everything.

Posted 18-Jul-2014
Pros: How close it is to everything.
Cons: The blinds cover the fan so either you have air or privacy.
Location: Everything is within two blocks.
The picture looks like a home when in fact it is a motel.

Parking nightmare

Posted 11-Jul-2014
We arrived Sunday afternoon - had 3 rooms reserved and we had 4 motorcycles... There was No parking at the property ! They have a tiny parking area in back with 8 slots - all full ! We then had to fend for ourselves and squeeze into the over full street parking.... The lady at desk told us that's how it is... She didn't appear to care one way or the other that we had to scrounge for parking

Pros: Very comfortable-nice homemade cinnamon buns in the morning.
This inn was centrally located and far enough from the main drag so that we weren't kept up by the Saturday night revelers. The first thing we did was walk to take a free gondola ride to take in the view and town!

Local Hotel Close to Action

Posted 28-Jun-2014
Pros: It was a good value for the money covering the basics. The people were friendly and it was very well located to Telluride and the Mountain Village.
Cons: The windows kept the room cool using fans. If you prefer air conditioning you are out of luck.
Location: All of Telluride is an easy walk and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. You have access to a pharmacy nearby as well as other shops uptown.
We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and informative. It is a good value for the money as it is close to town and the lift to the village..all within short walking distance. Also a short walk to the park. It has a hot tub and sauna in the winter. There is a guest laundry and ice machine for guests. You may end up parking on the street, but it is not a real problem as the hotel provides a permit to do so. The breakfast is simple continental. The bath uses a system of liquids dispensed from containers so if you prefer to use a bar of soap, bring your own.
