Overall, our stay at the hotel was pleasant. The staff are very friendly and went above and beyond - especially the reception staff!
Rooms are clean, fresh and contain pretty much everything you'll need for a pleasant stay in Malta but don't expect perfection!
Food is good, some of the evening meals were really fantastic although I do wish the breakfast selection could have been a little more varied.
The Park Lane was the perfect hotel for my trip. A great location and facilities etc but the icing on the cake is definitely the staff. Liz at reception greeted us like family members and welcomed us into the hotel. She even called to make sure we settled into our room.
Could not fault the hotel in any way, room was comfortable and quiet. Staff very helpful , friendly and polite. Great sea view which faces onto a lovely sunrise if you are up early enough.
Breakfast was ok, but the cheese was suspect, I'm not sure it was real cheese, but overall , I would stay again. I stayed in the Dolmen last year just up the road and the QP is much better in my experience.
My partner and I stayed here from 29/12/14 - 09/01/15. Our best friends, who travelled with us had the apartment next door. On arrival we were greeted by a very polite young lady on reception and given our room numbers with a description of how to get to the rooms. We were asked to pay a refundable deposit in case of breakages, this was something we did not know about in advance, but was not a problem.
The rooms were very clean, except for a problem with ants in the kitchen of one apartment. This was reported and a maintenance guy came along and identified where the ants were coming from and with the help of some ant powder the problem was sorted.
The indoor pool was very clean, although the Jacuzzi did not work.
The bar was clean and the bar staff were pleasant, the entertainment was mostly karaoke but we never stayed long enough to hear much of it because we were out most evenings. We ate in the restaurant once and the standard of the food was good.
would recommend Hotel, Staff all very happy polite and very helpful, food a very good and varied always to choose from soup, salads, pasta dishes,at least 4 main course's 1 of which was a roast ,only saw chips twice in the main restaurant, the roof top pool bar serves lunch time snacks burger and chips etc.
room that we had was a 1 bedroom apartment very nice beds very firm too firm for us this was our only gripe, air con in both sitting room and bedroom, maid service every day spotless.
A. Good hotel right on the harbour and next to the St Paul & the Shipwreck Church. Good pool facilities- saltwater so you can't sink great as a confidence boost & young children. Good basic continental breakfast & buffet hotbreakfast( slightly strange one morning when fish shapes on offer). The room was good &I enjoyed the wet room bathroom & it was. Kept very clean. The only major defect was that there was only one small working lift that had a mind of its own. It could only take 2 people with luggage at a time & the lift always had floor 5 lit so it would always go up before coming down. This made checking out at breakfast difficult. The staff were excellant & very helpful. There are 2 restaurants across the road & another attached to the hotel but the promenade is only 5 minutes walk away with plenty of eateries. The bus stop for Buggibba is next to the hotel. I would recommend the hotel but it is more a 3 star room with 4 star staff & pool.
Nice hotel, located in a quieter area but still handy to everywhere.. Room, foyer etc was clean and well presented, decent range of food for breakfast buffet.
All staff were very pleasant and helpful which is isn't always the case in a busy hotel!
Air conditioning was not working well (they did kindly provide an additional fan) and wifi could do with an upgrade but otherwise a very comfortable stay.

The adjoining resorts of Qawra and Bugibba are set on the large St Paul’s Bay, where St Paul was allegedly shipwrecked. Both resorts were purpose-built in the 1980s. Bugibba has a small square, shops, bars, budget restaurants, nightclubs and a small harbour from which several pleasure boat excursions run. Swimming and water sports take place off the promenade and at lidos. Activities in Qawra tend to be hotel-based.
