Great holiday beautiful weather hotel was definitly very nice
One thing service was great everywhere except during the day at the pool very poor service continually had to find someone to get drinks & food
The Marina Fiesta Resort has the best service in Cabo. I have stayed at 6 other resorts over recent years and the staff at the Marina Fiesta has them all beat. I was never without and the pool service staff must have a sixth sense because they were handing my drink as I was thinking about ordering one. Perfect location with an excellent staff. This place is a must stay for anyone looking to get pampered.

The resort was beautiful and the staff could not have been any more friendly and helpful from the time we arrived. The spa was wonderful and relaxing. I had a manicure and my husband had a pedicure for the first time and was impressed with the staff and how clean the facility was. The pool was a relaxing oasis with the 2 pools. One was like bath water while the other one was cooler for those that prefer water colder. The hot tubs were located all around the resort for those that wanted a more private experience. Having the market on the property
was not only convenient by trolley or a short walk. The restaurant's were awesome not only with the meal selections, but the seaside atmosphere enhanced our dining experience
We were pleasantly surprised with how wonderful Solmar Resort was despite construction noise next door and trucks working on the beach area in order to restore the beach and pools at nearby resorts that were badly damaged during the September hurricane. From day one, the restaurant staff went out of their way to make our stay simply wonderful. I have numerous annoying food allergies. I provided them with a list and for 14 days, they followed it to the letter. Forty meals and I never got sick. I cannot find the words to best express what wonderfully kind and caring people the staff are at the Solmar. We also loved being on the Pacific away from beach vendors and big crowds, we loved the ocean and swam in it everyday - but be cautious. We loved the quick and easy walk to town. The location can't be beat. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and were glad it was a smaller resort (100 rooms) and more down to earth than some of the over the top, over-priced resorts all around Cabo. We hope to return again next year. Also, we're glad we did all-inclusive, it was great value for our needs. Thank you Solmar Staff - for everything!
"Great Hotel - lots of good - a few things to know."
The hotel ans staff are fantastic. The food is improved and great. The drinks fabulous. The only thing I didn't really like is that they let folks from Playa Grande and Solmar use their pools now. I know the Hurricane Odile damaged all three properties, but this is overloading Grand Solmar Pools. I also know GS has 3 pools that were destroyed. If you didn't get a chair early, you didn't get a chair. Drinks and food take a lot longer with the over-load too. It went from relaxing and quiet to kid crazy and over loaded. The hotel itself makes up for the pools not being what they used to be. Just know that if you are going for the relaxing pool experience you may miss what Grand Solmar used to be.
WE VISIT CABO SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR - ALMOST ALWAYS STAY AT CABO VILLAS. WE WERE WORRIED ABOTU HOW IT WAS GOIGN TO BE SINCE THE HURRICANE. DONT WORRY CABO VILLAS IS PERFECT , THE ONLY THING I NOTICED WAS THAT THE JACUZZI WAS UNDER REPAIR. CABO ITSELF WAS PERFECT ALSO - WE ONLY NOTICED ABOUT 10% OF STUFF CLOSED DUE OT HURRICANE. EVERYTHING WE WANTED TO DO, EAT AND SEE WE COULD - THERE ARE NO ISSUES
