“Very good hotel, would recommend”
My husband and I stayed for a week at the Hotel Fusion on our honeymoon and were very impressed. The staff were all friendly and helpful, it is an excellant location, free breakfast and free internet use. Don't go expecting a 5 star hotel but it is clean and comftable, our room was a decent size but no air conditioning which meant it was hot at night, they did however provide a fan. The breakfast was good but not varied and you have to take it back to your room but it was good despite this. We would definatly recommend this hotel and if we go back to San Francisco we would stay here again.
“Great hotel”
Clean rooms, great location and friendly staff. Could not ask for more
“AT THE RIGHT PLACE”
EASY ACCESS FROM AIRPORT TO UNION STATION. IN THE MIDDLE OF SAN FRAN SHOPPING. CABLE CAR COUPLE OF MINS AWAY. VERY NEAT HOTEL. HAD A ROOM WITH ATTACHED SHOWER/TOILET. PERFECT AT THIS PRICE
“Excellent location, very good value”
I was upgraded to a junior suite, which was nice, although it was still quite small and a bit dingy but the benefit of being at the back was it was fairly quiet. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The bathroom was larger than average but the wardrobe was very small - not particularly a problem for me but it might be for some. The location just off Union Square can't be beaten and it is a short walk from Powell BART. The Tenderloin area down Ellis turning right out of the hotel is rather sad and some might find it a little worrying. Overall, very good value.
“Simple Fusion”
I stayed in a single bed room with ensuite at a very very reasonable rate. The hotel is right in the thick of Union Sq, close to all the iconic american brandstores such as Macy, Bloomingdales etc . Walking distance to San Fran Modern art Museum, Yerba beuno, and BART (underground) and the MUNI system (buses & trams to everywhere). The room was small but perfectly adequate for one person for a couple of nights. plenty of storage space for luggage. Bathroom spotless. Nie products. Breakfast was simple bagels, bread muffins, fruit, coffee and juice. Perfectly fine to grab and go. They are planning a sit down breakfast area soon. The only down side was that the walls are quite thin so was awakened very early (and late) by neighbours watching TV, talking etc. Staff were friendly. Allup a fine place to stay.
“Would definitely go back”
Great location, good value for money and efficient staff. A little city noise, but no different than staying in London's West-end.
“Good hotel and great value for money”
The hotel is in a very good central location - easy access to all the attractions. Breakfast is served in one of the rooms, so you pick up what you would like and go back to eat to your room, which was perfectly fine for the trip, but may not be suitable for all. Very good value for money.
“clean and friendly very central”
the hotel was close to all ammenities and one block from cable cars staff were very helpful could not fault anything about the hotel.
“It serves its purpose, but its not a luxury 5*”
The reason for booking this hotel was all about location, as we planned to be sightseeting most of the time. Because of very bad weather we spent more time in the hotel than we'd planned to, which is why the lack of wifi (apart from in the downstairs lobby!!) was very very frustrating. If you have a laptop, take it with you - as they will provide ethernet cables. The hotel staff who clean the rooms etc start using the vacuums at 8/8:30am and they are loud, so dont expect to get an undisturbed late sleep :-( There is no parking onsite, its Valet only, but the service was good. The complimentary breakfast services its purpose, but dont expect too much. Also, don't wander two blocks to the left of the hotel into the Tenderloin as this area is a bit dodgy at night.
