Villa Victor Louis
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (198)
"Unique property with lots of character. It felt like a true French experience. Our room was on the lower level of the building which meant we had access to a small private patio and to the larger, public courtyard. We spoke with another guest who was staying in a private villa off the courtyard so there are a variety of rooms available. The convenience of the buffet breakfast made for an easy start to our day. We had a car and while parking is available it is about a 10 minute walk in a very...

Slightly quirky room with the bathroom open and behind the bed, but great size and decor. Only downside was having no tea/coffee facilities in the room as they are available on the landing."

"This was our first trip to Bordeaux and we wanted to stay somewhere unique and away from the hustle and bustle of the main district. La Course Maison was the perfect place with amazing staff who were so helpful and a wonderful walkable location. Close to everything and also tucked away from the busy shopping area. The hotel was clean, quiet, and very relaxing with wonderful amenities. We stayed in the rooftop suite with private terrace, pool (although it was too cold to use the pool) and...

"Stayed for 3 nights. There are pluses, but also minuses. Pluses: Beautiful area. Close to Bordeaux and Saint Emilion. Large rooms, great showers and toilets. There is a kettle in the room. In front of the room is a small terrace with a table and 2 chairs. Breakfast is included in the price. Breakfast is very good if it is covered by a woman. At our request, she even covered us one hour earlier due to our early check-out, (many thanks to her). When breakfast covered a man, it was much worse....

Saint-Emilion Boutique Moulin center in the heart of the exceptional view vineyards
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (24)
"The location and views are excellent. Hosts are lovely and responded quickly when bathroom sink sprang a leak A reminder that being surrounded by vineyards is beautiful but includes early morning industry noise of people and machinery at work. I'm not a Princess but... the Moulin interior decor was somewhat disappointing - nasty plastic storage cupboards in kitchen and bathroom really cheapen the look which could easily be made more ' luxurious' with a visit to a Brocant and a little...
