Enjoyed 2 nights here with excellent food and service. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and made our stay very comfortable. We had booked 2 nights but for one only the twin room was available. However, they moved the beds together without being asked and had the room ready for us so we could move from one to the other before going out for the day.
In the restaurant, they provided food for 2 visiting toddlers whose parents were eating with us and served it quickly so that they could finish before we had our meal.
As we live in East Kent it is normally far easier for us to stay in France to indulge our taste buds. We visited Rutland, as we had family business in Nottingham & it was the nearest Relais & Chateau on the way.
Hambleton Hall lived up to every expectation. We can't wait to visit again!!

The Hotel was good although I had previously rang to hotel to ask if I could store my bikes in a safe location during our stay. The Receptionist said we could store them in the cellar and when I arrived I was informed this was ok overnight but the bikes must be moved the next day. Unfortunately the next day we had arranged to go fishing on Rutland Water and therefore had no where to put the bikes during the day. A hotel based next to a Cycle Centre should have a lockable facility for guests bikes.
