"I arrived having pre-booked on Expedia to be told by the landlord that he does not accept booking any more on this app. The original price was quite reasonable at £50 however he said a room was available with ensuite at £75 which I paid as I had no other options. The room was clean but there was no shower gel or shampoo provided and at £75 I would have expected a breakfast. In fact though, they don't even provide a paid for breakfast which is surprising. "

"Spent 1 night well visiting friends in the area. Had a lovely room. Lots of character. Steep stairs up to our room on 3rd floor. Owner helped to get luggage up and offered to bring down when the time came. Lovely breakfast. No supper served but a great local pub down the street with lots of selection and good food."

Really lovely host and fabulous with the dogs. Place was spotless, and great breakfast in the morning including a vegetarian version for my Muslim partner. Very relaxed and more like home from home, which is our kind of accommodation."

"Had a wonderful nights stay at this beautiful annex. Its spotlessly clean & beautifully furnished. Located in a nice little village with a pub 9 mins walk away. The annex was lovely & warm when we arrived, fresh orange & waters were provided & cereals & milk for breakfast. Also mixed berries, bread, jam, toaster & microwaves. We would highly recommend this annex for a stay"

"Did not get room that paid for. Room that we were given had dirty carpet dirty and not been vaccumed. Room had broken room window held open (heat wave in England) with piece of wood. Breakfast limited. No yogurt or fruit. Given butter for toast from a container in the kitchen and it was full of other people's crumbs and unidentified food. When complained to the Manager from London who was there to "sort out the hotel" - he was dismissive. Told me that it was cross contaminatied BUT that it was...
