Wholly recommend this hotel. Greeted with a smile and a chat. Staff did everything not only to welcome us but to accommodate all right to the final taxi upon leaving. WiFi and computers free. Simple nice and central. I would recommend this and return.
The apartments were very well equipped and very well maintained. Pool was quiet and relaxing. Owner and his wife were lovely, and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Close to bakery, and pharmacy, with a supermarket about 2 minutes drive. Beach quite close, but outstanding beaches at Lindos and st. Paul's bay about 10 minute drive. Good restaurants locally especially Konstantins and Milos within walking distance. Despite being on the main road we were not bothered by traffic noise. We had a sea view, which was upgraded by the owner when we arrived at no extra cost, and he printed our check in details for our flight without asking or additional cost. The whole experience was relaxing, and trouble free. Would happily recommend these apartments.
First tim eto Rhodes wanted a reasonably priced appartment where we could cook when necessary but primarily as a base to explore the island. The room was significantly bigger than we expected with excellent facilities, 4 ring hob, oven and huge fridge with separate freezer compartment, towels replaced every other day and sheets twice a week, a unexpectedly large balcony with a fantastic view accross to Lindos and the arcropolis. The owners were great and Claire met us personally at 10.45pm Saturday evening to show us around. Happily recommend this small block for more than a base, its a good holiday home, quiet and you can do things at your own pace.
This was our 2nd trip to Rhodes, but this time we wanted a top hotel in the old town of Rhodes.
The hotel down plays it's location but in reality it is on the famous Street of the Knights which is probably one of the most photographed locations in Rhodes!
It is literally 30-40 metres from the grand palace entrance. And maybe 150 metres from the top of Socrates street with all of the shops, bats and Restaurants. The street also is host to a couple of consular offices inc France and opposite the Italian one.
Spiros the hotel manager was fantastic and seemed to be there 24/7 and nothing was ever a problem for him.
Food and drinks were excellent with the outside area for dining having tables in the sun or shaded by the mature trees.
Air conditioning was permanently on but set at a very comfortable level and meant returning to a chilled room after a hot day in Rhodes was a welcome return home to base.
Unlike many hotels in Rhodes there is plenty of hot water even for a family like ours with 3 female water babies.
This was one holiday which we would have been happy to stay on forever.
The hotel was very new. Shampoos and bathroom was really nice and clean. In overall everywhere was clean actually. Breakfast was amazing, we ate like 2kg of delicious food each person every morning. Lobby and architecture is stylish.
Downsides are wifi being accessible only in lobby and balconies and maybe first floor. And when we first arrived, they made us wait about an hour (which we just wandered around town and wasnt actually bad) and when we entered the room there were people inside who havent left yet. We would have entered at an inappropriate moment into the room.
We would definitely recommend this hotel
Perfect location straight across from beach but also with it's own swimming pool. The pool area is quite small and there are not many sun loungers however we always managed to get one and the area is spotless.
Rooms were cleaned thoroughly each day and cleaners were present in the hotel all day. Breakfast was 'buffet' style but plenty of choice and drinks and food on the hotel terrace were very reasonable and I would recommend the 'club sandwich. Staff friendly and very accommodating always willing to help with ordering taxis, directions etc. We were just bed and breakfast as we wished to sample the many cafes, restaurants in the extremely close vicinity as are shops. Walk to Old Town is about 10 minutes and harbour even nearer. Would highly recommend this hotel .
