"I had a great experience at the hotel - the staff were super friendly and helpful, the hotel was very modern and clean (in fact, the whole property was spotless) and they followed my request to be put in a room with sea view, which gave me the best morning views when I woke up. Also worth mentioning the hotel was a stone's throw away from the quieter side of the beach which was ideal for me. Loved it and would definitely stay again!"

"Loved this hotel! Very nice walk to the old town (about 2.5 miles but pathed path along the beach). There is also a taxi station (5 min walk) that will take you to the old town for a flat rate of 10€. Super nice employees and loved the all day restaurant. Provided free towels and allowed us to hang out for the day of check out even though our flight left at 9pm (provided [paid] storage lockers). Would definitely recommend!"

"Perfect for a long weekend. Room was spacious, bed comfy. Food was good with plenty of choice. Staff were lovely. Location great for getting to beach or walking through the town and exploring the marina and old town. Only gripe was lack of space around pool and on beach- unless you get there before 10am, there is no hope of a sun lounger and definitely no parasol! We walked along the beach to the right and found a beach bar with shaded loungers to use for free- just needed to buy a drink from...

"Arrived 1 hour later due to delays ,staff on duty were really welcoming and nice, friendly,the reception/lobby was so cool with the a.c on has were always hot from being out and about .The room was lovely,cleaned every day,fresh towels ,sheets ,fridge stayed on even when we went out ,so did the a.c..Dryer in the room an a free safe to set up yourself and use , which was great . The Pool was really nice ,I think it's ok ,it might not be the biggest or deepest but it enough,to cool off when you need to. I don't like being in deep water anyway. Lovely lady who served me a cocktail from hotel bar ,was the best cocktail ever . Breakfast was amazing lots of choice,from continental,bacon , Frankfurt sausage or turkey cut up ,to fried eggs , scrambled, omelette, vegetable too and fresh fruit ,cereals ,jams , chocolate,bakery ,buns ,bread , croissants,an make yourself toast , absolutely enjoyed my stay at the esperia city hotel,the place is nice , people are very friendly, welcoming.Visited the ACROPOLIS on the open hop on off bus ,we went to the old market which is fantastic,new town ,and all the bars ,lots of restaurants,really loved it ,I didn't want it to end ."

"The room was lovely and clean and the view of the sea fantastic. It is a shame that the buildings infront are rather run down but if you don’t sit right to the front of the balcony they are obscured. The location is excellent for walking into the old town the only downside is the proximity to bar street which can be rather rowdy but if you turn right when you come out the front of the hotel you never have to go along it."
