Ialyssos — Five miles west of Rhodes you can find an idyllic exemplar of Greek life. Gentle but active the town’s location on one of the windier coasts of Rhodes makes Ialyssos a particularly good spot to try your hand at windsurfing or kitesurfing.

Faliraki — The best known resort in Rhodes attracts many tourists to its excellent array of cafes tavernas and bars as well as its water park thriving beaches and buzzing nightlife.

Afandou — Afandou is home to the longest beach on Rhodes Island giving this small but welcoming village a reputation that exceeds its small size. It may be quieter than areas like Faliraki but sport lovers should note that it is home to the island’s only golf course.
