Jez was a great host, really friendly and accommodating, giving us helpful local advice and getting the hot tub ready each evening. Breakfast was delicious. "The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."

"Check in was easy. The room was spotless and facilities excellent. Staff were all polite and obliging. Breakfast was included in the price and was very good. A full range of English and Continental options all laid out and self service. Check out was equally easy. The site included a petrol station and a Toby Carvery which although not connected to the hotel were good for evening dining and filling the car with petrol before departure in the morning."
