"It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay ."

"We get good responsive action when we needed the flower and front garden cut. back garden need cutting, insect started entering the house, shower curtain need to be fixed but response, we mop water everyday after shower. We stayed over 3 weeks no cleaner to clean and we paid for cleaning each time we extend our stay. We will go else where so that the house can be cleaned when we leave instead of extending it and remain in the unkept environment. We stayed that long because of nearness to home...

"We had a lovely stay at Higham Manor. The property is spacious with a great pool and hot tub. We had 3 generations of our family and a dog and everyone enjoyed themselves. The property is a quirky mix of shabby chic and gothic. With everything we needed for our stay. Lots of parking and no stress at checkin or checkout. Would definitely recommend this house."

"This is a generously large property in a great location for sight seeing by car, Canterbury, Cambridge, St Albans, Brighton, Colchester, Ipswich even Norwich & Great Yarmouth. Supermarkets 5 mins away in the car. The property itself has room for 2 cars (off street). The kitchen had everything you'd need, even the extras like cling film, bin bags, washing powder, ice cube tray & some condiments (which we've not had available in other properties). "Really lovely location and space. Communication with owner very good. Children loved the space and great we were all able to sit and eat together. Cooking facilities met our needs. Plenty of crockery for adults and children. A little shortage of spoons. Hot tub great to use. Our only concern was finding glass shards which had been missed in the cleaning process."
