"Lovely hostel in a rural village. It's a.ahort walk up a steep road that is too narrow for cars, although motorbikes frequent it. This is a backpacker destination and we were the only ones there with children. The hosts are very helpful, and the people in the village are kind. Anywhere you go will involve walking steep paths, and if you choose to do any trekking, expect a challenge if you are not an experienced hiker. Also expect a lot of mud, so pack appropriately. "We loved our short one night stay at Mega View Homestay and wished we could have stayed longer! The hosts were so nice, they helped us orient ourselves in the town and booked our tickets to the top of Fansipan right after we checked in while we got settled since we had such little time to waste. Room was clean and had an amazing view, bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The location was perfect, steps away from the town center but tucked away enough that we didn’t hear...

"I had a very excellent stay at the BBQ Hostel, Ms. Dinh helped me a lot with the travel/transportation and trip arrangements. Many thanks for the great support. I’m just wondering why the BBQ Hostel got only 2* in Hotels.com? The interior is new and modern and I had my own bathroom for an affordable price. There are still some construction ongoing in the area but it didn’t bother me at all. I will definitely come back if near by."
