Apartment Navona

Via del Teatro Pace, 32A, Rome - Map
"Central location in Rome"
The two bedded apartment was situated on the first floor above artisan shops in an residential back street. The service was very personal, with nothing too much to ask from the owner. They appeared very keen to please. The location in Rome was ideal for us. (2 adults and 2 children). Very central and close to the Vatican and Piazza Navonna. Both of which were 10 minutes walk away. The apartment was clean and appeared well maintained. It had all that was needed for a self contained apartment but as there were so many restaurants on our door step, we took very little advantage of the facilities. We had breakfasts in and that was all, but there were adequate cooking facilities should you need them. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. Having stayed in many hotels where the beds have been uncomfortable, these allowed for a goodnight sleep. On the downside, the apartment was fairly spartan, and although well maintained, was done in a "historic style". Quaint but a little updating may be beneficial. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return in the future ad well as recommend to friends and family.

Pocket Guide: Rome Navona Bed and Breakfast Hotels

In the heart of the historic centre, Piazza Navona is Rome’s most famous square. Like a giant stage set, this is where the theatre of daily Roman life is re-enacted among the café tables that spill out onto the fountain-splashed piazza. Bernini’s baroque extravaganza, the Fontana dei Quattro Fiume, is the most celebrated of the three fountains. Nearby is the Pantheon – one of Rome’s great symbols and a marvel of ancient architecture.
