Generally OK stay. Temperature control in the room was impossible. The thermostat was set at 16C and the room temperature was 24C making it uncomfortable. Staff screwed up my airport taxi request and the 1st one could not accommodate my needs.
Fantastic stay! Comfortable hotel with a lovely quiet courtyard to have a relaxing drink at the end of a busy day. Lots of restaurants and bars locally. Perfect position very close to all the main sights. Would definitely recommend and will return!
Had a wonderful 3 day stay. Enjoyed the 30 min walk into the city and back on 2 of the days and took the bus the other day (easy To do) Had dinner in the restaurant on day of arrival and fillet steak was absolutely delicious; prices seemed very reasonable. Restaurant felt comfortable and unpretentious and service was excellent. Loved the double shower in our wet room. Only slight niggle was that by choosing a double room rather than a twin when asked on arrival, we missed out on the coffee pod machine that the twin rooms had. Arranged airport shuttle at time of booking and this was cheaper than a taxi and hassle free. Would definitely like to make a return visit.
Taxi driver found it difficult to find but the location is near trams and buses so very convenient and the Colusseum was an easy walk. Vatican walkable too. Trastervere is very lively so it was good to be away from the main drag and have some quieter locals to drop in to.
Modern, clean and comfortable. Very convenient stay whilst attending a conference at the University of Archeology just across the river. Beware evening noise from bar below that goes on until 1am even at weekdays.

Upon arrival the front desk staff (wish I knew the woman's name-but she only works in the morning) was going to allow another guest to check in before me, so that irritated me. The guest had to point out that i was standing the.
The room was spacious, had a balcony, and large tub/shower. I had no idea that you had to use European outlets to charge your phone (FYI first time Americans). The other front desk staff was very helpful and told me where I could purchase one. They also do not have irons (another surprise). You also have to check your key every time you leave the hotel. This didn't bother me but took some getting used to. The breakfast was pretty good with a really decent selection (pastries, cheese, Turkey deli meat, eggs, bacon, and cappuccino ). The hotel is pretty close to the bus or tram. Overall, it was a good hotel with a couple of glitches.
A family run hotel leaves you with a really warm feeling. Well organised and helpful. happy to spend time talking you through the best bars and restaurants. Room was clean but do not expect luxury. Safe was a no no, a little metal box laying in the wardrobe which i picked up and placed on the bed without struggling. Breakfast typical for the area but again plentiful. You could not place this hotel in a better location for the nightlife. Would definately stay here again if in the area.
Across the River Tiber, Trastevere is a well-established 'boho chic' quarter, full of local character. The patchwork of tiny, cobbled streets houses many bars, good restaurants and buzzing nightlife spots. There is also a treasure trove of medieval churches. In its own piazza, the beautiful Santa Maria in Trastevere has shimmering golden mosaics and was probably Rome's first Christian basilica, founded in 222 AD.
