“Best airport hotel”

I like this hotel only becuse within airport eria, staff very nice also the room.

“Good for airport only”

A very tired hotel. Unless you need to be within a few minutes of the airport or exhibition hall there are better places to stay in Muscat.

“Hospitality”

"Hospitality" is the best word to discribe this hotel as I have received lots of them during my stay in this hotel. I have a big trouble during my stay in Muscat, however, because of the huge help from them, I can definitely say I have survived the situation. This is absolutely more than I have expected, and it matters if we can get a help from them when we face a problem, but I can say this hotel will be always willing to help you in need. I would like to visit the hotel again!

“Expensive though good and the only option”

This hotel is expensive though there is no reasonable option near the airport. The airport shuttlecan only be used on days you're staying in the hotel on othetr days (e.g. aftre returning the rental car) taxi must be taken.

“lack of maintenance in public areas. Otherwise very comfortable”

Good location near the airport. Comfortable rooms, even if there was a smell of disinfectant. Very polite personnel. The bar on the top floor seriously neglected. Breakfast was good, even if the coffee was terrible. The shuttle to the airport was very convenient. The little shop inside the hotel was very nice. All in all a good hotel if one is there for business and needs a convenient hotel near the airport.

“Business Conference”

I stayed at the Golden Tulip Seeb Hotel for a business conference. All of the facilities were clean and adequate. For a formal conference it is in the perfect location, near the airport, next to the Musct Exhibition Center and close to the highway.

“Much better than expected”

Not really sure why this hotel gets such a thumbs down from some people, perhaps it's been upgraded since other reviews of maybe I lucky. Becuase of some of the other reviews, this was a lot better than I expected. It's an airport hotel thats much better than some I've stayed in various parts of the world. Clean room (admittedly, a few stains on carpet); comfortable bed; functional bathroom; good breakfast and helpful staff. Free shuttle - easily arranged, just email ahead of time (I did so just before flying and all was efficiently arranged). A good choice if you need a hotel near the airport or you're arriving lateish and want a convenient place to stay before moving on. I'd recommend it.

“Close to the Airport”

I have stayed at the Seeb Hotel a few times but only because it is close to the Airport, it is a very long way into town. Other than that there is not much to say - the restaurant is not great and the bar is really a joke! Staff on the other hand are very pleasent and there is a free shuttle bus to/from the Airport

“Near airport, but expensive”

Hotel is very good, but expensive. It is the nearest hotel to the Seeb Int'l airport so often the only choice for late arivals.

Getting there
Taxi from airport costs 6 OMR (!) for less than 3 minutes drive. So be sure to check the hotel shuttle which is free of charge.

“Good place to stay”

Very calm place away from the city but very close to the hotel. Good for business purpose or for short stay in Muscat
