"Loved the thoughtfulness and all the complimentary toiletries. Loved the bathrobe and house slippers provided. Great room size. There were 3 adults in our group. Excellent value. And best part is the location! Literally right next door to the train station. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay here again!!"

"Amazing hotel to stay at. Beds and pillows very comfortable. The onsen was delightful and the proximity to the train station made it easy to get to. But also was still very close to other spots. Food at restaurant waa also delicious. Each floor also focuses on a local craft or artesian skill thay then is also featured in the rooms. Love it. "

"On our first trip to Japan, we were not sure what to expect, but Wat Hotel was an incredible experience. We came to the exceptionally clean and classy establishment and greeted by the jovial staff member Riko M. Despite how busy it was, she made sure we were well taken care of and made navigating the system easy especially with her great English skills. She had no trouble making us feel welcome in an unfamiliar area. The breakfast had a wide variety and even had several staff members keeping everything in order to make it a smooth dining experience. We would easily visit again during our next stay in Takayama and also recommend Wat Hotel to friends and family. "

"Very clean, convenient-easy access to Matsumoto JR station, facilities are very good. Laundry, microwaves are provided at the hotel for public use. "

"The queen rooms were more spacious. One could easily lay out 2 mid size bags."

"Convenient for public transport and the castle was within walking distance. Unfortunately i was given a smoking room which stank like an old ashtray. The room was heavily nicotine stained and even after using freshner it still smelt.the Free breakfast was limited in choice and not topped up, so first in best selection. The staff are friendly and helpful and i will stay here again but i will specify a non smking room."
