A hotel that feels like home!

Posted 06-Aug-2014
The location is excellent and close to all major attractions. Snacks and drinks (bottle water, soda, juice, biscuits...etc) at the mini-bar were all FREE and restocked everyday. That's a HUGE plus and saved us so much money just on bottle water alone, not to mention that the room even had a Nespresso coffee machine! The room was a little small but big enough for couples. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. Hotel staff were very friendly and offered us complimentary drinks at the hotel restaurant while we were waiting for our room (we arrived 30 mins before check-in time). It's these small things that the hotel provided and the staff did that made our stay a pleasant experience. We will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic little gem!

Posted 03-Aug-2014
Pros: Clean , tidy and very well decorated with a superb ambiance.
Cons: How do you improve on perfection?
Location: Easy walking distance of Tower Bridge and metro stations.
From the minute we arrived we were treated very well by the excellent hotel reception staff . Our room was excellent very large with lots of extra's .Drinks , chocolates , biscuits. A superb large and clean disability friendly en-suite - with a great range of complimentary toiletries and the most comfortable bed imaginable. Fantastic! We eat at the superb restaurant . The food was excellent and not too badly priced for London. We were so delighted that we checked in for breakfast , (having booked on a room- only basis). Breakfast did not disappoint with an amazing choice of food. On check-out the staff could not have been more friendly. Faultless!

Outstanding rooms!

Posted 20-Jul-2014
Pros: Rooms, they're clean and huge!
Cons: Not much. Hotel reception is a small area.
Location: Close to tube, tower of london, london bridge.
I've stayed at hotels for twice the price with not as nice as rooms. Clean and great character (With brink panelling). Staff is terrific, extremely pleasant. If there is a small negative its in the Central Business District, which is quiet on the weekends. But this may not be a negative to some. Still very close to the tube (2 minute walk) and to Tower Bridge/Tower of London (5 minute walk).

Close to the Tube.

Posted 07-Jul-2014
Pros: Sweet employees, good decor, modern and clean.
Cons: Offer more concierge support with tourist questions. Offer to assist in bookings to area activities and the like.
Location: Close to the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and an easy walk across the Themes to many shops and restaurants.
This was a nice hotel, but I had no idea it was basically in the business district. It sounded like a historic area when I did research, but if you want to stay in a more residential area, try to find a place west of here. We had to take the tube everywhere we went after we explored the neighborhood. Staff was sweet, but not too knowledgeable or anything like concierge service. They were very kind, and sincere though. Rooms are contemporary and in good shape. The room has good black-out drapes for sleeping in. The restaurant downstairs just never had customers, so we never ate there. The area is not particularly good for evening or night walks. In retrospect, we wished we booked somewhere closer to Hyde park so we could enjoy some night activities without fear. The Whitechapel neighborhood is really nearby, and sort of sketchy, so we didn't feel comfortable there in the evening.

Very nice hotel.

Posted 29-Jun-2014
Cons: There is nothing to be improved, but you have to change tubes 2-3 times to get to most central London locations. The tube station Aldgate is close by.
Location: Only 5 minutes to Tower Bridge/Tower of London. It's a 10-15minute walk to the Burrow Market and St Paul's; 20-25 minutes to the Globe and the Tait.
This hotel is trendy. The rooms are large, the bathrooms very nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful Hotel

Everything about this hotel is top notch. There is a tube about 3 minutes from the hotel but the hotel itself is 20-30 minutes from almost everything you would want to see and do.
