Great, convenient location!

Posted 21-Jul-2015
My husband and I have stayed at this hotel before and always found it to be very friendly and great value for money. The staff are always extremely helpful and polite. I advised when booking that it was my husbands birthday, so they included a free treat in our room - it was a very nice touch. My only (small) issue was that last time our room was much bigger (they upgraded us for free), but this time I paid for the upgrade (wanting to have the same size room guaranteed), but the room was noticeably smaller. It was a bit of a shame, but it didn't detract from how wonderful everything else was! Great stay, definitely would recommend!

Great location, very trendy hotel.

Posted 19-Jul-2015
Pros: Just about everything.
Cons: Nothing I came across
This is a really excellent hotel which has been superbly converted from what used to be, I believe, an old bank branch. It is very modern but very comfortable and the bedrooms are extremely well appointed. I would not hesitate to stay again and recommend to others.

Great location

Posted 15-Jul-2015
Pros: Great staff, very friendly and helpful, made an immediate favourable impression at reception. Room perfectly adequate and good value for the price.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Very close to tube at Aldgate, and as we discovered, some good bus routes. You can reach the Tower and the river in under 10 minutes walking.
An excellent short break staying here. Wanted hotel in a quiet location but with easy access to main sights and rail transport. Indigo was a perfect choice.

Superb London Adventure Headquarters

Posted 21-May-2015
Pros: Location, décor, cleanliness, friendly staff, good restaurant, excellent room, super bed. Free (non-alcohol) minibar!
Cons: I can't think of a thing.
Location: See my narrative above.
This is a small, quite shiny new hotel, located about two blocks from the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge -- two of the premier attractions in old London. The Tower Hill subway station is nearby, with connections to all over London -- and the pier for embarking on Thames River tour boats is just below London Bridge -- all within minutes of Hotel Indigo. We picked Hotel Indigo for its price (seemed toward the middle of the medium priced London hotels) and its location. We will go back the next time we go to London. Tasteful, modern décor, attentive and friendly staff, its own restaurant and lounge -- and spotlessly clean at all times. No pool, no gym or sauna or business center -- but there is enough to do in London that those amenities were not missed. I have had a lot of hotel experiences in my life -- all but a few quite nice. Hotel Indigo ranks right up there with the best in my experience.
