Very convenient location

Posted 28-Feb-2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: It still needs a bit of redecoration.
Location: It's right above Euston Square tube station and very handy for Euston Station. There are lots of pubs and restaurants nearby to suit all tastes.
I chose this hotel because of its proximity to London Euston. When I arrived I was disappointed with the size of my room, it was tiny and also very noisy. The guy on the front desk moved me to a better room with no problem at all. The new room was much better, but a little lacking in storage space for my clothes. The hotel is currently undergoing some redecoration and it needs it, but overall is quite a nice place to stay. The wi-fi signal was consistently strong.

Nice and convenient hotel.

Posted 25-Feb-2015
Pros: Location, price, cleanliness.
Cons: Perhaps the breakfast?
Location: Drummond Street for dinners. British Library, British Museum, Warburg Institute, London Review Bookstore, Wallace Collection.
Though the room was small, the overall experience was satisfactory. The staff is very professional and attentive, specially at the reception desk. Small room, but clean, warm, and comfy. Clean and and new restrooms. Fantastic location (in my case I needed to be close to Bloomsbury and the British Library, but the British Museum and the London Review Bookstore are very close.) If you are a walker, you can walk to many art venues such as the National Portrait Gallery, or The Wallace Collection. Also at Drummond street, just around the corner there are some great Indian and African restaurants. Worth the stay.

per quattro passi a Londra,

Posted 24-Feb-2015

Convenient

Posted 23-Feb-2015
Pros: Close to centre
I stayed here whilst carrying out some engineering shut down work. Clean, comfortable, economical bed for the evening. Not much sound insulation between mine and the adjacent room and the corridor.

Plain but comfortable

Posted 03-Feb-2015
Pros: Price
Cons: Radiator in room ...
Location: Underground station nearby, even if not on the most convenient of lines, enables good access to anywhere and anything in London.
This is an unpretentious hotel, 30 yards from Euston Square Underground station. My room was small but adequately furnished, and the bathroom worked as it should, though anyone over 6 feet tall might have found the shower difficult. Only problem: the radiator didn't work. Breakfast was limited in scope (nothing cooked, coffee somewhat stewed) but included in the price of the room - which was very reasonable for a central London hotel of this category.

Small boutique hotel near bus and underground link

Posted 30-Jan-2015
Pros: position, friendly staff , clean and presentable, no music at breakfast
Cons: heated towel rail or smaller windows bathroom a little cold (but it was winter)
Two night theatre break, buses to mid town theatres within 100 yards ,next door to tube link could not have been better, as travelling with 75year old. Hotel clean and pleasant. would stay here again and recommend to friends

Small but functional

Posted 26-Jan-2015
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Fix the bathroom door and make the air con controllable by the occupant and not centrally controlled.
Location: Close to tube station and Kings Cross is only an easy 20 minutes walk straight down the road. Regents Park about 10 min walk.
Had a twin room, which for one night was fine, but a bit on the small size. The bathroom sliding door would not fully open so if you were heavily pregnant or the fuller figure, it would have been a struggle to get in. The room was very warm at night and the air con was not working, probably due to being winter.

convenient hotel with poor facilities and staff

Posted 22-Jan-2015
I've stayed here a few times, as its convenient, but it goes from bad to worse. In this hotel, expect the staff to be generally unhelpful, take photo id because they will turn you away without it, and nothing will work in the rooms - lights, sockets, kettles - etc. Also expect the bathrooms to flood. The rooms are tiny. If none of this puts you off, it would be good value for £70.

Budget hotel convenient for transport

Posted 17-Jan-2015
Pros: Very close to Euston and Kings Cross station. For the hotel rate the facilities were decent
Cons: Appearance of hallways, and doors - these look very old and smell bad.
I was looking for a cheap hotel close to Euston station and this fit the bill. I arrived very late, the hotel staff were helpful. The hotel was round the corner from the station and also close to Kings Cross / St. Pancras. The following morning I needed help to figure out how to get to a business meeting and again the staff were very helpful providing detailed instructions. The room and bathroom were very tiny but clean and looked like they had been recently refurbished. The lobby and dining areas were also in good condition. However the hallways, stairs and door were very old and musty in appearance. In bad need of refurbishment. Overall if you are looking for a cheap hotel close to transport and a place to just stay the night this is a good option.
