"My partner and I recently had a wonderful stay at Victoria House. We were warmly greeted by Jan and she made us feel very welcome throughout. We also loved meeting her dogs, Oscar and Honey! The room was very comfortable and the house is in a great location. We used the regular local buses to visit nearby towns and to visit Snowdon. We had a great time in Caernarfon and if we visit again, we will certainly stay at Victoria House."

The review format asked for echo-friendliness so had to mark down a little for the use of small plastic bottles in the bathroom and the individual packaged portions of butter, jam, sugar and salt at breakfast. "Can’t fault this B&B. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with smiles and support. We had just arrived after a very long flight so needed a little TLC! Amazing stay in a stunning location.
"This was our first time in Wales and our first self catering holiday. Could not have picked a better place to stay. The cabana we stayed in was perfect for us (2 adults and 2 young kids). The location is ideal as it’s close to Porthmadog to pop to the supermarket, plus not too far from the nearby sites (including Mt Snowdon). The actual site/resort was stunning, great walks around the site including some nice trails in the woods and passing some beautiful waterfalls. Would recommend to anyone, especially those new to self catering. The bar/restaurant were right next to our cabana and we did have the buffet breakfast on our last morning which I could not fault, also having a nice bar as our doorstep was a nice treat. I would stay again if we were to return to this part of Wales. Finally, we didn’t see or need much of the staffs time but we every interaction was friendly and helpful. "
