"What a nice stay! Nicely renovated historical hotel with great amenitiies! Nice touch with the 6pm lobby wine and coffee both complimentary with also a 20 dollar food credit at cassells. It is an old building so doesnt have double pane windows and you do hear the outside noise but all of the original architecture, wood floors, and short uber or cab ride to most la venues and eateries is priceless. The staff is also very prompt and friendly!"

"The pool was a nice treat, shopping next door and Hollywood Stars were right out the front door. Breakfast buffet was nice as it had nice options. The bed was very comfortable. I’d stay here again. "

"I enjoyed my stay at the Freehand and will definitely choose them again for my next LA trip. There were some smudges of someone's makeup on the wall near the mirror and the desk table had some damage on it but otherwise the room was clean. The room I chose faced a street with a bar and there was some noise from people standing out front late at night but otherwise it was a peaceful stay. The rooftop bar is wonderful and open til midnight which made it a great option for a night cap without having to leave the hotel and the lobby lounge was a great option for getting work done during the day. A little busy but I found a spot and the cafe integral staff was very kind and accommodating. "

"This is our go to hotel when we are going on trips or staying around the LAX area. Love the comfy beds jist wish there was more pillows in the room, lol. Very clean and love the breakfast. Out of all the times we've stayed here this was the first time we had tonpay for parking which by the way was alot. "
