"Does what it says on the tin!"
My hubby and I booked an overnight stay as we had booked for a show at the Albert Hall. I booked this hotel due to the great reviews, we weren't disappointed! The hotel/pub is situated on a direct bus route for all the sights and is opposite Olympia station so great for getting around the city. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. It looks very inviting from outside, clean and we'll kept. You can eat in the pub throughout the day and the food looked delicious although we only had breakfast, there was a good selection to choose from. There are a selection of restaurants nearby and the Indian next door is worth a try, our meal was delicious. The only downside and it is only minor are the stairs, due to the age of the building we had to negotiate 4 or 5 flights of stairs to get to our room therefore if you find stairs a problem you should request a room on a lower floor. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and I would recommend the hotel without a doubt. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to the capital.
