Celebrated my husband's 50th birthday here and this was our first time to Europe/ the UK/ London. I reserved our stay months ago and continued shopping around. I am SO GLAD that I did not book elsewhere. This place is a gem and whenever we visit again, we will stay here. The area was so convenient from both Heathrow airport and to travel throughout London via the underground. The Earl's Court underground station is literally across the street and less than a 1/2 block from the hotel. Then, I cannot say enough about Neil and the staff. From the first phone call to inquire about an early check-in throughout the entire visit, we received such warmth, hospitality and kindness. The rooms are GORGEOUS and well-appointed with many complimentary treats such as water, ale, biscuits and a nice selection of coffees and teas with milk and sugar. Also, breakfast is included with the stay: hot, tasty breakfast cooked to order, pastries, fresh fruit and fresh juices. Also, we weren't nickeled and dimed for every little thing like hotes in the US. The rooms are modern, stylish and very comfortable. The housekeeper is a sweetheart and kept the rooms pristine and stocked well. The pub has great selection of draft and bottled beers. We didn't get a chance to have dinner at the pub but I'm confident it's good too. Neil gave us great tips for venturing out as we wanted to avoid the obvious tourist traps. This ranked top mong my hundreds of hotel stays.
